Shiro Mitten

Ground chickpeas mixed with dollops of garlic, onion, chili and in some places ginger. It is the favorite dish of many Ethiopians, especially in times of fasting. Our shiro has a touch of berbere, onion, garlic and ginger.

Ingredients: Shimbra (Chickpeas), Garlic, Ginger, Berbere, Onion, Bessobela (Holy Basil), Rosemary, Tossegn (Thyme).
